Q: What can I expect from a photoshoot with you?
A: Expect lots of energy, laughing, and probably me saying “oh my gosh” or “I’M OBSESSED” about 3,000 times. I’ll guide you through poses and prompts the whole time while also making room for natural moments that feel like you.
Q: What kind of photos will we get?
A: A mix of posed and candid photos! I love getting the classic shots you’ll want framed, but also the in between moments that usually end up being some of my favorites.
Q: Can I get the unedited digital images?
A: I do not provide RAW or unedited images. Editing is a big part of my process, so every image you receive will be fully finished and ready to download, share, and print.
Q: What if there is bad weather or you/I get sick?
A: Life happens! If the weather is not cooperating or either of us gets sick, we’ll reschedule to the next available date that works for both of us.
Q: What if we have an emergency and need to reschedule?
A: Just let me know as soon as you can and we’ll find another date. I do book pretty far in advance during busy seasons, so some flexibility may be needed.
Q: What do I or we wear for our session?
A: Wear something you feel good in and try not to match exactly. After booking, I’ll send you a styling guide based on the season and location, and I’m always happy to help with outfit ideas.
Q: Do we choose the location or do you?
A: We can decide together! If you already have a spot in mind, send it my way. If not, I have plenty of favorite locations and can help recommend one based on the look you want.
Q: Where are you located and do you travel?
A: I’m based in McKinney, Texas and photograph sessions throughout the DFW area. Travel fees may apply for locations more than 25 miles from my home base.
Q: How do I receive my photos and how long does it take?
A: Galleries are typically delivered within 7 to 28 days depending on the season and my current workload. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your final images.
Q: Do you offer prints or albums?
A: Yes! I can order professional prints and albums for you if you’d like something tangible from your session. Just let me know what you’re interested in and I can walk you through the options.
Q: How many people can be included in a session?
A: Standard session pricing is based on smaller groups and immediate families. Larger or extended family sessions may require additional time and pricing, so just let me know your group size when you inquire.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Absolutely, as long as the location allows pets! Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan for it.
Q: What if my kids don’t cooperate?
A: Totally normal! Kids are kids, and I never expect them to be perfect. We’ll take breaks, move around, play, and work with whatever mood they’re in.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: The sooner the better, especially during fall and other busy seasons. My calendar can fill up months in advance, but I’m always happy to check for last minute availability too.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes! Payment plans are available if needed. The full balance just needs to be paid before your session date, not after. We can work out a payment schedule ahead of time that makes sense for you.
